I looked for them in Larry Fine's 'The Piano Book' (1990 ed.) and didn't find anything, which makes me wonder. Thanks in advance. I bought a new Weinbach piano from Bosendorfer in London about four years ago on the recommendation of my classical piano teacher. He had previously swapped his old Steinway Grand for three Weinbachs (2 uprights and 1 Grand)! My one was cheap for a new piano, costing about 2300 UK pounds and so far I've been very pleased with it. The tone is reasonable for the price and the action is extremely good. My piano tuner reckons that the quality of brand new Weinbachs has suffered due to the increased labour costs caused by German re-unification, so maybe buying a second hand one is better now.
