I am far from an expert, but. If it's in excellent condition ('A' grade), they tend to go for close to $1k if you buy it PPT in our state (since they are off-roster).
Find out the serial number and pedigree if you can. If it's brand new, it's worth more, obviously. But make sure they are not selling a W. German police trade-in. I have seen A-grade W. German trade-ins for as low as $750.

Whatever you do, don't let that pistol leave CA!;). This is what i'm afraid of.was made in 1981 according to the codes and was imported thru Arl.
All of that seems to be right as well as with the serial #. Dont know if and when I'd ever see one again this old in this cond. If you don't buy it, send me a PM and I might!:D Depending where it's located, of course.;) Sounds like a find though. You can always buy it and dump it later probably, at no loss to yourself. They are relatively hard to find in CA in the PSP form since they are off-roster.
